Hello Kindergarten families,   Our learning:   We went to the gym for an assembly and Celebration of Learning,  the grade(s) 3/4 hosted . We also introduced some activities that include patterning. Hello Kindergarten families,   Our learning:   We recognized a variety of celebrations this week such as Lunar New Year and the beginning of Ramadan.  We also showed Canadian pride as we   wore red to cheer on Team Canada. We talked about various Olympic sports and the countries participating in the games. It was Family Friday today. Students moved around the school to participate in different activities in another classroom. Ask your child what they did.   We have a puppet theatre in our dramatic play centre and students have been actively practicing their "professional" skills during play. Students are also aiming to create visual content that should be entertaining for an audience. We talked about how we could "rotate" the card to help our animals fit (long and short for a fox, but tall and skinny for the owl.) The students really got a chance to work on their fine motor skills ripping masking tape to attach their puppe...
