 Greetings Kindergarten Families,

What a year we have had! This week has been a celebration of everything we have been learning. We continued writing in our journals and adding finishing touches to our work. We spent time reading and listening to stories. We sang songs and watched the grade 6 celebration. We also helped clean up our classroom by wiping chairs and organizing items. We visited the grade 1 classrooms and got to see what it will be like next year. We saw each room and even got to witness a morning circle time with one of the classes.

We finished number 10 this week! WOOHOO! We have some learning to build on, and are beginning to understand that quantities can be made in a variety of ways.

The journals have recorded and stored much of our work this year and are a nice keepsake. (You could also glue some of the extra art work into the blank pages.)

Our grade 6's were able to help us by running some stations for sports day and we all had a great time. We even got to have freezies afterward and play at the playground.

Your students have been a light in our school and they make everyone smile. Thank you for entrusting TRS with them and their learning. We are so glad that we made many new friends and saw beautiful camaraderie between the classes and with other students. I have enjoyed watching this class learn and grow in their abilities, friendships, and confidence.

We hope you have a wonderful, fun-filled, inspiring summer. I look forward to seeing many of you next year!

Love,

Ms. Kinnear & Mrs.Wacker

One last friendly reminder:

  • Don't forget to check your backpacks and empty lunch kits! 😉
